● Overview.
-PHYHEAL Co., LTD is biopharmaceutical company that researches, develops and produces new functional cosmetic ingredients from natural resources.
-Our main strategy to develop functional cosmetic ingredients is to use science-based innovation to support cosmetic companies in growing areas of skincare. We tested hundreds of marine algae for the development of cosmetic ingredients, and the ethanolic extract of Sargassum macrocarpum (formerly named Sargassum serratifolium) showed the strongest antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypopigmentary, anti-wrinkle, and anti-bacterial activities. S. macrocarpum is a food-grade brown marine plant in Korea and contains high concentration of plastoquinone (sargahydroquinoic acid, sargachromenol, and sargaquinoic acid) which have similar structures of retinol and gamma-tocotrienol. We established the manufacturing process of high concentrated plastoquinone product (>55%) from S. macrocarpum.
-We made nanoemulsion (20 nm size) with the plastoquinone product to ensure storage stability for 3 years. Under strict process and quality control, we produce and supply SargaXTM to domestic and international partners.
-This powerful marine algae-derived nanoemulsion (SargaX) is ideal for retinal alternative. It has strong skin-brightening, anti-wrinkle, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial activities. It prevents skin aging by suppressing oxidative damages and inflammation on skin as well as hyperpigmentation and wrinkle on skin.
